Q. What motivated you to go into the field of Holistic Wellness?

A. The majority of my professional nursing career has involved caring for the critically ill in hospital intensive care units.  In recent years, as a result of my own journey towards healing and well-being, I have discovered the value of holistic health care and personal accountability. Conscious life-style changes and the integration of specific holistic modalities into my daily life have had a positive impact on my overall health.  This has been a significant factor in my choice to obtain an Advanced Degree in Holistic Nursing and to become a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner.

Q. What is the focus of your practice?

A. My desire is to combine my knowledge and experience of more than 30 years in conventional and holistic nursing to help individuals achieve and maintain optimal wellness.  The short term goal of an office visit is for the client to leave feeling better than when they arrived! For long term, clients are empowered with information and “tools” to help them manage stress and/or pain in their everyday life. I love sharing in the excitement when a client experiences improvement by using something they have learned during our time together. It is an incredible privilege to accompany and guide others in their healing journey.
