Homeopathy is a method of addressing the health of the whole individual, which often results in an overall sense of well-being. Healing through homeopathy is safe, gentle and effective. Many problems respond much faster to homeopathy than to conventional medicine. I treat chronic problems where conventional medicine can only mask the symptoms and/or create intolerable side effects.
I practiced emergency medicine (ER doc) for 15 years, then in 2007 graduated homeopathy school. My medical license is current and I also practice classical homeopathy. Medicine is always expanding, so I keep up to date with the latest developments in conventional medicine as well as in homeopathy. Although conventional medicine does have its strengths, I find that homeopathy is often more rewarding in patients’ results. Integrating these disciplines and all complementary modalities with conventional medicine would revolutionize medicine and could be more cost effective in many cases.
A neighbor called me to come see their 13-month old son who was wheezing and had a fever. Wheezing in children, especially the very young, can get much worse rapidly. I told them that and advised them to take him to a hospital. They wanted me to treat him so I asked a few questions and gave a remedy. His wheezing cleared completely within 2 minutes of taking the remedy and he soon became his happy, playful self.
I became interested in homeopathy through my spiritual organization, the Path of Bliss, where I also learned meditation. The best medicine for me by far has been to meditate twice a day and do yoga postures daily. A positive attitude is important for physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Meditation can expand your mind and heart! I teach an 8-week meditation course, using the textbook “Close Your Eyes and Open Your Mind”. This course is ideal for everyone in developing a regular meditation practice. The classes are progressive, building skill levels as students learn the core strengths and limitations of the mind, enhance their sense of self and gain a better understanding of theroleofintuitioninmeditation.
